In the late sixties, Pete Seeger recorded a hit song called “Turn! Turn! Turn!” The words are from the Bible. The third chapter of Ecclesiastes says, “For everything there is a time and a season.”
This New Year, let’s pause to reflect on that wisdom. As we move through life, change comes to us. We see it in the seasons. We experience it as we grow older. Life brings both joy and challenge. Each takes its turn.
