In 1983, Glenn followed a call to camping ministry, moving to the Frio Canyon from Southern California where he had been a general contractor and his wife, Mary, a teacher. Glenn started as assistant to the Camp Director, responsible for maintenance work and hosting Foundation Camp groups. His duties quickly grew to include construction operations in the Canyon.
Glenn enjoys working behind the scenes with the crews that take care of the Canyon. He has led the development and oversight of Canyon operations and the planning and management of multiple construction projects, including the Family Camp facility at Headwaters and the renovation work currently in progress in Echo Valley.
In his current role, he leads the team responsible for ensuring the long-term health of the Canyon, including oversight of property stewardship initiatives and management of facility growth and development. David and Deborah Rogers work with him closely to honor the family’s commitment to excellence in property care and stewardship.
Glenn and Mary continue to live in the Canyon with their four golden retrievers and have two grown children.
