Local families struggle against many structural disadvantages—but they also face faulty perceptions about why their struggle exists and persists. We rarely hear stories that celebrate a family’s ability to problem-solve, achieve goals, or overcome barriers. Narrative change is the strategic use of stories to shift those perceptions while targeting key audiences. In this project focused on the Family Independence Initiative’s work in San Antonio, we will target philanthropy, nonprofits, and government entities with stories that show the benefit of trusting and investing in families and the impact that has on social mobility.
RALLY is an issue-driven communications firm that takes on sticky political and social problems and find ways to push them forward. Starting with a strategic communications plan, RALLY uses a variety of tactics to help clients achieve a legacy of positive change.
